Have you started a self-directed IRA account yet? If you haven’t, you really need to attend KREIA’s May 25th main meeting. Because you’ll learn how to hold rental property without owing any taxes on your rents received – either now or when you reach retirement age.
You can even flip inside your IRA without owing taxes on your profits. And wholesale. You can borrow from someone else’s IRAs to do your deals. And you can even joint-venture to team up your IRA with another person’s IRA.
Of course there are rules to follow in order to do all of this. And there are also more types of self-directed investing vehicles than just the IRA (which has two flavors – the Roth for tax-free earnings, and the Traditional for tax-deferred).
There are CESAs (Coverdell Educational Savings Accounts), which let you direct your invested savings and profits toward your kids’ or grandchildren’s education expenses. There are HSAs (Health Savings Accounts), which let you direct them toward your health bills. And if you’re self-employed, you have even more power and control via a self-directed 401(k).
Find out the ins and outs of all this at our May main meeting. We’ve invited Amanda Holbrook from Specialized Trust Company to make it all clear. She’s going to cover…
- Obstacles facing real estate investors & taxpayers in general
- How to keep more of what you make
- How to use other people’s SDIRAs to fund deals
- Wholesale, PML, Rental deal structure with retirement accounts
- Leveraging real estate
- Partnering with accounts & SD IRA/401k LLC
- Tax-Free Family Plan – wealth strategy
- How to convert to a Roth IRA from a Traditional without paying a dime in taxes
Amanda will be giving away the book Field Guide to Financial Freedom and making available one-to-one sessions to show you how self-directed investing can impact your personal finances and business this year.
“Self-Directed accounts allow you to invest in what you know and scale your business to new heights,” Amanda said. “Learn how to take back control of your financial future & pay less in taxes while doing it.”
