Joe Worth is hosting two L.O.T.S. events at his Phoenix Hill property. The first, on Tuesday, May 28th, at noon, is the regular version. And on Thursday, May 30th, at 5:30 p.m., we're having the "i-L.O.T.S." version. What's "i-L.O.T.S."? It's the inspector-enhanced version.
The inspector is Marty Goldsmith of Gold Home Inspection. Marty is a licensed home inspector and also a KREIA advertiser. And he'll be leading us on a tour of Joe's house, pointing out things he would include in an inspection report. And also sharing tips on things to look out for when you're walking through prospective flip houses that come your way. He said his goal is to "save you money," whether you're selling or buying a house.
Why are we doing this? Because there are five Thursdays in May, and we always do something on the first four Thursdays in May, so we didn't want to leave the fifth one out! Besides, we like getting together, and we love learning about real estate. And for folks who can't make it to our regular L.O.T.S. events because of their day jobs, this evening version will give them a chance to participate.
Board member Hampton Scurlock, who is planning this event, says you can think of it like a cross between L.O.T.S. and Happy Hour. He says there's a pizza joint nearby and he suggests we all convene there after the tour is over. Sounds like a plan!
(Everybody will need to buy their own food and drink.)
