Ready for a day of concentrated real estate instruction? You'll get it on Saturday, Feb. 24th! We're holding a day of workshops in Louisville, headlined by experienced local investors, followed up with some optional networking later at an area bar.

We call it KREIAtreat because it's a retreat for KREIA members. Last time we held a retreat we hosted it at Taylorsville Lake, but this time we're staying closer to home. If you've been to recent in-person KREIA workshops, you're probably familiar with the KREE building.

As with last time in Taylorsville, you'll be gaining great education and stellar networking opportunities — and lunch is provided!

8:30 a.m. — Doors open

9 a.m. — KREIAtreat Introduction with KREIA President Christopher Jaquith or Vice President Hampton Scurlock

9:20 a.m. - 10:30 — Jay Bowman offers an introduction to Commercial Real Estate

10:40 a.m. - 11:50 — Attorney Harry Borders talks asset protection, LLCs, Trusts, and some Do's & Don'ts of real estate

Noon - 1 p.m. — Lunch break

1 p.m. - 2 — Paralegal/registered agent Renee Buster offers more on privacy, compliance with new laws, LLC requirements, and the ins and outs of 1031 Exchanges

2:10 p.m. - 3:30 — Dennis Erhard talks about landlording and implementing systems in your business to save time and money

3:30 p.m. - 4:40 — John & Joy Mays, a husband-and-wife investing team, close out the sessions with a discussion on how to partner with your spouse and others in your investments
