Dive further into the topics of House Hacking and the BRRRR strategy during this Saturday workshop. These bread-and-butter strategies are good for beginning investors — and even advanced investors use them.
What's house hacking? That's where you use your own house as a launchpad into investing and learning how to be a landlord.
What's "BRRRR"? It stands for "Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat." It's a system where you use the same seed money over and over to rehab your way into a rental portfolio.
Luke
Bryant
Who's teaching? Luke Neubauer and Bryant Grimes. They're following up their main meeting presentation Thursday night with a deeper look at house hacking and the BRRRR strategy, and how each can lead to financial freedom.
Luke is a self-described "regular guy" who started investing part-time in 2011 with a $3,500 down payment and $5,000 in savings. He and his wife, Christina, used the BRRRR method to add two or three rental properties a year to their portfolio — and that allowed Luke to quit his day job as a middle school science teacher six years later.
Bryant is a CPA with over eight years of experience in accounting and six years experience in investing. He describes himself as a “House Hacker x3” and says that after his first property purchase, he has lived exclusively in house hacks. Bryant currently owns and self-manages 15 doors (short- and long-term rental) and has two flips in progress.
Attend this workshop and you'll find out:
• How you can get into a house hack for as little as 3.5% down (That's crazy-cheap money, and a bargain-priced way to launch an investing career!)
• How to line up your initial financing for a BRRRR — get a pre-approval or equity line ready
• How to "run the numbers" to evaluate a BRRRR deal
• Which lenders Luke and Bryant have used for loans and refinancing
• Long-term rentals vs. short-term rentals (Airbnb) in BRRRRs and house hacks
• How to get started
• How to repeat the BRRRR process for infinite ROI
• And moreI
Plus, there will be more time with Luke and Bryant, so more time to get all your questions answered!
