Broker Diamond Shirley-Alexander is the host of our August 31st Learn On The Site event. She will take us on a tour of her latest rehab house, in the Newburg area, and show us how she has rehabbed it. She'll point out the work she has done, show "before" photos, and share her numbers: how much she paid to acquire the house, how much she has spent to fix it up, and how she hopes to profit..

Diamond Shirley-Alexander is the principal broker/owner of Diamond Key Realtors, a local real estate company serving Southern Indiana, Louisville area and Lexington. Diamond said she joined KREIA two years ago and has been a regular attendee of the monthly meetings to learn and grow as an investor. She said that she vividly remembers Mike Butler asking her two years ago, on multiple occasions, "How many rentals do you have?" She would reply none. He would further ask, "What are you waiting on?"

Diamond said she was very curious about the rental market and she stumbled upon Gorege Foree, who has since become one of her real estate mentors. One year ago she flipped her first home, and now owns 9 rentals, mostly purchased by applying the BRRRR method. Diamond said she is extremely grateful for all the connections she has made attending KREIA events and is excited to share her latest BRRRR deal in Newburg.
